ANNAI's Universal Data Application Platform (UDAP) was awarded Good Design Award 2017! We would like to keep contributing solving social issues with this achievement! We are also excited about sharing this project story at BADCAMP 2017!
|Product Name||Universal Data Application Platform(UDAP)|
Universal Data Application Platform allows government and public sector to easily publicize Open Data. When text data is uploaded, it automatically visualize that data into graph or data on the map. Publicizing, managing, maintaining data become easy with this platform. We also cared about better UI/UX for users who uses visualized data.
*UDAP is based on DKAN, an open source data portal site solution used in many government organizations around the world.

|What we focused on||
We took very much care in both the visual design, as well as the system architecture. We aimed for a friendly look & feel for end users. The Universal Data Application Platform also provides flexibility for the public sector to alter the design.
|Comment from Good Design Award judge||
The Japanese government has a treasure-trove of data. However, traditionally, that data has not not been well organized. Users were unable to easily access this data, meaning that it was not well utilized.
In this current day, where the internet connects everything, Open Data is an important resource in the search for solutions to current social issues. We hope the Universal Data Application Platform will become a trusted gateway to utilize Open Data.
ANNAI's platform will be shown at ”GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION 2017”
